Steam Management Systems was founded in 1990 to fulfill an apparent need — to help our customers end the cycle of repairs and losses in the maintenance of their steam trapping systems.
Experience with typical steam traps revealed the need to help customers drastically reduce or eliminate an unnecessary economic burden.
Steam Management Systems' engineers adopted the following principles to direct their steam trap designs:
- Efficiency - Minimize or eliminate potential for trap failure and hence, energy losses
- Effectiveness - Fast, complete discharge of condensate and non-condensables
- Economical - Reduce operating expenses associated with traps
- Ease - Reduce and simplify maintenance
- Enduring - Create longer-lasting designs
